Permanent Part-time and Part-time Line Cook (Markham Location)

Michael-Angelo's is looking for certified Cooks to assist with the following duties in the prepared foods department

  • kitchen production & preparation of the hot & cold tables
  • preparation of catering orders
  • soups, sauces and stocks
  • proper sautéing techniques
  • proper grilling and roasting techniques
  • proper braising and stewing techniques

Candidate must have knowledge of the following:

  • product knowledge
  • food handling: proper food temperatures, cooling of hot foods including leftovers, food contamination, personal hygiene and sanitization
  • proper mise en place and knife handling

Permanent Part-time Floral Clerk ( Woodbine location)

A position is available for a Permanent Part-time Floral Clerk whose job duties would include:

  • arrangement designs & merchandising
  • daily maintenance and operation of flower shop
  • customer service
