June 2009 – “Big Bike” in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation

For the 3rd consecutive year, Michael-Angelo's Markham location proudly registered a team to participate in the Heart & Stroke Foundation’s “Big Bike” event.  To date, the team has raised over $16300.00 for the foundation.

May 2009 – “First Annual Michael-Angelo's Charity Car Show”

On Victoria Day, thanks to countless hours of planning and organizing, our Mississauga Store Manager, John along with Head Receiver, Steve, hosted the First Annual Michael-Angelo's Car Show.  Many car buffs came out to enjoy an afternoon of admiring a variety of over 200 classic muscle cars, new vehicles, trucks and motorcycles while sharing stories and history about their vehicles with our community.

A b.b.q. was provided by Michael-Angelo's and a 50/50 draw and raffle tickets were also sold at the event.  Through the generosity of our customers, suppliers and the time given by our volunteers, this event raised $1800.00 in support of the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

2008 – Markham location

Michael-Angelo's receives Foodland Ontario’s “Excellence Retailer Award” in recognition of promoting homegrown goodness.

Top Choice Award, 2006-2007

We did it again!  Michael-Angelo's is presented with the Top Choice Award for “Top Fruit & Vegetable Store” in Toronto.
